What's being built
- A commercial project: Existing permit allows: Partial demolition and construction of a four storey dwelling to the rear of an existing shop in a Heritage Overlay and a reduction in car parking associated with the shop Proposed amendments:
- Demolition: Garage and rear of the shop have already been demolished under an approved permit (see site photos attach).
- Massing & Parking: Removed the 3rd and 4th floors to greatly reduce height and bulk.
- Removed the second car space · the remaining single space still meets local council parking rules.
- Ground Floor & SPOS: Updated the internal living layout.
- It still provides a functional · well-lit and ventilated 25m² of Secluded Private Open Space via openable skylights.
